When we launched ZED Interactive in Dubai in 2021, most digital agencies in the UAE were selling websites as if it were 2010 static pages with no WhatsApp integration, no Google optimization, and zero follow-up. Businesses were spending AED 5,000 15,000 on websites that generated nothing.
We saw a different opportunity. UAE consumers had already moved to WhatsApp-first buying behavior. Google Maps was driving 70%+ of local search traffic. AI was making instant, bilingual customer communication possible at near-zero cost. The tools existed. What was missing was an agency that understood the UAE market deeply enough to combine them properly.

ZED Interactive launched in Dubai with a clear focus: build high-converting websites and dominate Google Maps for UAE small businesses. Our first clients were cleaning companies, restaurants, and retail shops in Dubai Marina, JVC, and Downtown.
Within the first 6 months we had deployed 20 websites with WhatsApp booking integration. Average result: a 3× increase in inbound enquiries. One cleaning client went from 8 calls/month to 35 within 90 days of launching their new site with Google Maps optimization.
As UAE businesses recognized that WhatsApp was their primary sales channel, we developed our automation stack instant reply systems, lead qualification bots, follow-up sequences, and broadcast campaign tools. All bilingual: Arabic and English.

By 2025, ZED Interactive had become a full-stack growth partner for 140+ UAE businesses from solo operators running a single cleaning round to multi-branch restaurant groups and national training organizations. Total client revenue tracked and attributed: over AED 7 million. We also expanded our Africa operations, serving Kenyan businesses from our Nairobi team.

ZED Interactive was not built in a boardroom. Dennis hired a web company for his own business, watched them miss every brief, and cancelled the contract. Then he sat down and built it himself.
